Health Central continues to make giving back to the community a high priority. In offering activities and education for seniors and day care for children, Health Central provides services in a safe and positive environment.
In addition, the Health Central Foundation, Health Central's not-for-profit fundraising organization, raised more than $500,000 last year, making 2003 it's most successful year yet.
Events like the annual like the annual Community Partners Golf Tournament, "A Night in Chicago" (the foundation's annual gala and auction) and Nick Bollettieri's Tennis with the Pros helped the philanthropic group reach its goals and continue its efforts to improve the level of healthcare in the community.
The success of our School Nurse Program campaign ensured that registered nurses would continue to provide health services to children in 30 public schools. In addition, Health Central employees showed their support for the hospital's growth by contributing to our Building Miracles program and other community campaigns.
The foundation's partners, including Health Central Auxiliary, the West Orange Junior Service League, Ocoee Rotary and other community organizations, support all of these above-mentioned endeavors, as well as many other community "wellness" programs.
