What kind of procedures are performed at the Lab?

We draw blood and perform lab tests including:

  • Arthritis panel
  • Hepatitis panel
  • Lipid panel
  • Obstetric panel
  • Renal function panel
  • Thyroid screen
  • Urinalysis screen
  • Comprehensive metabolic panel

How should I prepare for a lab test?
Some Lab procedures require that you not eat or drink anything for up to 12 hours before the procedure. Call the Lab if you aren't sure about the requirements of your procedure.

How long will it take and when can I get Lab results?
Blood drawing is quick, usually less than five minutes. Your Lab results will be sent to your physician, often the same day of your procedure.

Where is the Lab located?
Health Central's Lab, also known as the Outpatient Center, is located on the 1st floor of the hospital.
